Whether you make an appointment or walk into our clinic, you’ll have the same experience. Each test comes with a sexual health assessment, so that we can offer our best advice on keeping you healthy and safe.
Other STI/STD tests (Hep C, Syphilis, Chlamydia and Gonorrhea) will require a visit with one of our compassionate providers. The labs and visit will incur a cost that can be covered by your insurance or paid through our Sliding Fee Scale (SFS) program.

HIV Testing
We use the HIV rapid test, which gives results within 20 minutes after a quick finger stick to take a drop of blood. If you’re sexually active, you should get tested at least once a year. You’ll receive counseling before and after the test, no matter the results, and can receive immediate treatment from us if you test positive. No appointment is necessary, and testing is free.
Hepatitis C Testing
We use a rapid test to screen for Hepatitis C (also known as HCV), which is a viral infection that attacks the liver. The results come back within 20 minutes after a quick finger stick to take a drop of blood. If you have used drugs with a needle–either recently or long ago–you should get tested, since Hepatitis C can be asymptomatic. You can receive immediate treatment from us if you test positive. No appointment is necessary.
Syphilis Testing
We use a rapid test to screen for syphilis, which is a bacterial infection caused by sexual contact. The results are returned within 20 minutes after a quick finger stick. Having syphilis increases your risk of contracting HIV, so knowing your status is essential if you’re sexually active. You can receive immediate treatment from us if you test positive. No appointment is necessary.
Chlamydia and Gonorrhea Testing
We use urine tests to screen for chlamydia and gonorrhea. These sexually transmitted bacterial infections can usually be cleared with antibiotics. Results are returned to us in 2 days from the laboratory. You can receive immediate treatment from us if you test positive. No appointment is necessary.
