Healthcare Costs Can Be Scary So many of our patients have concerns about their patient care and healthcare costs. These days, who doesn’t? 26Health patient care is here to allay your concerns. We are a non-profit, 501c3 corporation and we operate as a community health center, offering access to the highest-quality health care, regardless of your insurance situation, and with a personalized case-by-case medical payment plan designed to be affordable for your healthcare costs, no matter your circumstances. We believe everyone deserves to be healthy and have access to the highest-quality health care. Patient care coordinators who care about you Every patient who comes to us has an assigned patient care coordinator. Together, these coordinators have over sixty years in patient care and are here to design a personalized payment plan for you for any of our services related to physical or mental health care. Our patient care coordinators have a combined diverse service background — ranging from social work to charities, churches, retail customer service and even law enforcement. The department is bi-lingual, offering support in English and Spanish. And they are also members of or allies to the LGBTQ+ community, so they understand the unique healthcare challenges and concerns you have. If you don’t have insurance If you don’t have insurance, don’t worry. You’ll be assigned a patient care coordinator who will assist you with a medical payment plan. They will ask you about your income and, based on your total household income, determine the price of your visits with a sliding scale for your type of service. So a full-price appointment which is typical $100, maybe adjusted to as little as $25. We’ll then create a payment schedule (weekly, monthly, visit to visit, etc.) based on what is most doable for your healthcare costs needs. These sliding scales apply to all of our core medical and behavioral health care services. Services like medical cannabis, adoption, and spa/beauty services do not fall under the sliding scale. We may require copies of pay stubs, bank statements, or other financial documents to verify your total household income. If you do have insurance We do accept insurance plans. For medical services, we currently accept Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Aetna, Tri-care, and Medicare. For mental health services, we accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield, CIGNA, United Behavioral Health, New Directions, and Medicare. As insurance providers in Florida frequently change, if you don’t see your provider listed here, please ask as we sometimes add new providers as they enter the Florida market. Give your health the attention it needs, free from fears about healthcare costs and medical payment plans. Want to learn more about 26Health patient care? Yes, I want info!
