What is your patient care philosophy?
My philosophy to patient centered care is to foster a welcoming, safe, and secure environment that inspires and empowers every individual- from early childhood through adulthood- to achieve their fullest potential for mental and emotional wellness.
How does your work affect lives?
My hope is that my work will empower patients to function more effectively, build healthier relationships, achieve personal goals, and overall live more fulfilling lives. One of my goals is to help reduce the stigma associated with mental illness by promoting understanding, support, and access to resources and care.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
What I enjoy most about my work is seeing my patients make progress over time, gain confidence in managing their mental health conditions, and improving their quality of life.
What are some interesting facts about you?
I am a diehard University of Kentucky volleyball fan (please don't hold that against me). I love the outdoors and being active. I have been a ritualistic runner since I was in early adulthood. I love camping, fishing, hiking on any trail or mountain, and stargazing at night. My dream is to visit Nepal for a few months and immerse myself in the culture.
