Marcus Freeman (he/him) is an accomplished healthcare executive with over two decades of leadership experience in nonprofit and community-based health organizations. As Chief Financial Officer of 26Health, Marcus brings a deep commitment to health equity and operational excellence. He has led transformative initiatives in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), including expanding access to integrated care, advancing 340B pharmacy operations, and forming strategic partnerships to strengthen services for underserved populations.

Prior to joining 26Health, Marcus held executive roles at Saint James Health and other prominent FQHCs, where he oversaw large-scale capital projects, implemented value-based care strategies, and secured multimillion-dollar collaborations to expand patient access. He is widely regarded for his leadership in healthcare finance and strategy, with a focus on advancing sustainable, mission-driven health systems.

Marcus also mentors future leaders through the National Association of Community Health Centers’ CFO Leadership Institute.
