Andre T. Young, ESQ. (he/him) serves as the Chief Legal Officer for 26Health. Throughout his life, Andre has always advocated for others.
A native of Atlanta, GA, Andre graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History (Minor, Sociology) and a Master of Education Degree in Social Studies Instruction.
After graduating graduate school, Andre began his career as a middle school educator with where he taught middle school Social Studies in Atherton, California, and serving as an assistant coach of the freshman basketball team. Andre then attended law school, at the McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis, and received his Juris Doctor Degree in 2008.
In addition to teaching full time while in law school, Andre clerked for the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission; The Ninth Circuit Public Defender’s and for Personal Injury Attorney Peter Shapiro, of Shapiro and Wilson in Orlando, FL. Andre has owned and managed his own firm(s) since 2008. Seeing an opportunity to advocate for others in a new way, Andre joined 26Health in late 2024 as Chief Legal Officer while still maintaining his practice, The Young Law Firm of Florida.
Andre is committed to giving back to the community. He is an active life member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.; He is a member of the 100 Black Men of Central Florida; and he serves as an usher at the Kingdom Church of Orlando.
