Free Prom Dresses and Suits Available for Central Florida Students at 26Health Event

With prom season approaching, 26Health is helping local high school students celebrate without financial stress by hosting Operation Prom, a free prom attire giveaway in downtown Orlando.

The event will provide students with free suits and dresses through a boutique-style shopping experience, allowing them to select an outfit for prom at no cost. The goal is to ensure there are no barriers for students to participate in one of high school’s most memorable milestones.

“Prom should be a celebration, not a financial burden,” said Latrice Stewart, President and CEO of 26Health. “Operation Prom is about making sure students can show up feeling confident, included, and ready to enjoy their night.”

Students are encouraged to RSVP in advance. Walk-ins are welcome, and attire will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

In addition to supporting students, 26Health is also calling on the community to help expand the program’s reach. Donations of gently used formal wear, including suits, dresses, shoes, and accessories, are currently being accepted.

“Community support is what makes events like this possible,” Stewart said. “Every donated item helps another student take part in this experience and creates a lasting impact.”
