Wilfredo Guzman

Mental Health Counselor


Wilfredo Guzman (he/him/his/él) is a Bilingual Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern. He is originally from New Jersey and has made the Central Florida area his home for over 20 years. During his time here, he completed his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Degree from Rollins College. Wilfredo also received his B.S. in Psychology with a Minor in Nonprofit Organization Management from the University of Central Florida. When not working with people, you can find Wilfredo relaxing near a body of water or socializing to build community. 

Wilfredo has engaged in doing intentional work for over 10 years with diverse populations as at-risk youth, people experiencing homelessness, people living with HIV, LGBTQ+ issues, addiction/substance misuse, and victims of trauma and crime. Wilfredo aims for the client and counselor to establish an emotional and social connection that supports people to explore and actualize solutions to their problems. He uses an eclectic approach to counseling with focus on evidenced based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. Wilfredo welcomes potential clients to join him on a collaborative journey to explore mental health and wellness with the goal to increase the quality and satisfaction of life.
