Dr. Shima Shekari is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician, born and raised in Orlando, Florida. She completed her medical school training at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida, and her Family Medicine residency training at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, Florida. She has been in practice for over 2 years, both in Primary Care and Medical Marijuana. Her family comes from Iran, making Dr. Shekari bilingual and fluent in both English and Farsi. She also has a 12 year-old Shiba Inu named Peji with a sassy personality! In her down time, you can find her spending time with family and friends, playing all kinds of board games, or out on a new foodie adventure! Some of her favorites include Mexican, Indian, Peruvian, and Persian!
