Breeann Rodriguez is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern pursuing licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. Breeann and her family moved to Central Florida from New York when she was just one year old and therefore, she considers herself a native Floridian. Breeann received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Central Florida; Go Knights!
Breeann’s experience includes work with both adolescents and adults struggling with substance abuse, gender identity, depression, anxiety, trauma and abuse, self-esteem, relationship issues, grief, and behavioral challenges. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Crisis Intervention, and Psycho-education to assist individuals in reaching their therapeutic goals. Breeann is committed to a holistic approach to healing, which includes healing the mind, body, and spirit.
When Breeann is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Nova and Nebula, as well as reading and writing. Her favorite author is Stephen King, and she is proud to say she has read all of his books. Breeann has always had a passion for the literary arts and she is currently working on a fiction novel about overcoming the challenges of mental illness.
Breeann is excited to begin working with 26Health in bringing holistic care to the LBGTQ+ and Ally population.
