What is your patient care philosophy?
My patient care philosophy centers on compassion, empowerment, and evidence-based practice. I believe in meeting patients where they are, understanding their unique experiences, and fostering a therapeutic alliance built on trust and respect. My approach integrates trauma-informed care, emphasizing safety, collaboration, and individualized treatment to support long-term healing and growth.
How does your work affect lives?
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and clinical leader, I help patients reclaim control over their mental health and build resilience. Whether through direct counseling or through supervising and developing clinical teams, my work creates ripples of positive change—helping individuals heal from trauma, manage anxiety and depression, and rediscover purpose. By ensuring high-quality, ethical, and person-centered care, I strive to improve both individual outcomes and the broader behavioral health system.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
What I enjoy most is witnessing transformation—seeing patients find hope where there was once despair, and watching the clinicians I mentor grow in confidence and skill. I find deep satisfaction in creating environments where both patients and staff feel supported, valued, and empowered to thrive.
What are some interesting facts about you?
My husband and I have four spoiled dogs who are like family. Dory from Finding Nemo and Finding Dory is my favorite character. I relate with her mantra, "Just keep swimming." I’m an avid reader and gamer, always curious about stories that explore human behavior and resilience.
