Accepting New Patients? No
Fun fact: I still hold my spoon the same way a young child does when eating a bowl of cereal.
What is your patient care philosophy?
I’m invested in emphasizing a more integrative, dynamic, and holistic approach to mental health. A holistic approach is utilized by exploring with and educating patients about how mind, spirit and body are interconnected. My theory is that when people have hope and can learn to challenge and replace irrational thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes, people are free to experience change.
How does your work affect lives?
I work on addressing the mental health needs of patients who are struggling with an array of mental health concerns. I listen, process, recommend and provide guidance on identifying, coping and moving forward.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I enjoy working with patients and being able to provide my mental health expertise through processing, challenging, and empowering. I love seeing how they implement these changes into their lives and experience a greater sense of wellness.
What are some interesting facts about you?
I have a big, fun-loving family. I am proud to be a gay Colombian-American husband, son, brother, and friend. I enjoy spending time with my husband, fur babies (dogs), friends, and family. I love exploring new places, trying new foods, working out, eating and staying healthy, traveling, listening to music, dancing, the outdoors/nature, meeting new people/making new friends, animals, watching tv series and/or movies, and being jus being friendly.
